MusicBeatles Medley (Rockapella)Oct 23, '07 5:19 PM
for everyone
I once observed to a friend that a musician's greatness can be seen in how often future generations of performers choose to revisit his or her work in their own styles, long after his/her passing.
There can only be one Beatles, but there are also wonderful interpretations of their music out there today. This, I feel, is one of them....

Forgot where I got this song clip from, but like someone else said, it's like "listening to two angels sing". So I hope that's true for you too... enjoy!

Selections feature the work of guitar masters F Tarrega, M Llobet, A Barrios and H Villa-Lobos, and are performed by John Williams, Shinichi Fukuda and Mats Bergstrom.

This guy's a gem of a local discovery. Very mature improvisational and instrumental arrangements executed with virtuosity on both steel-string and classical guitar.
My first taste of his music was at the Penang Jazz Festival 2006, appearing onstage with Farid Ali (aka Mr. Gambus!) 'Caravan' is an interesting duet by them.
